Ken was in Vail, CO for the CMLA last week:
One of the great parts about the job when not reading regulations, laws, and enforcement actions is spending time with our friends all around the country. Ken has taken to posting weekly videos on Wednesday with brief, quick-hit, updates about the industry and what we see happening while he's on tour.
This last week the Knowledge Coop was following some very interesting potential changes and updates. While Ken was in beautiful Colorado, Heather was in Florida, and together they tracked some interesting dialogue:
- At the AARMR conference there was a lot of talk about Account Executives Licenses
- Some dialogue around states adopting NMLS numbers for advertisements
- "Know Before You Owe" (TRID) has comment period open for some possible changes
- And a very important thought shared on secured messaging
