This week's challenge is brought to you by the hashtag "#getfit."
Your challenge is this: get up and moving twice this week. Step away from your desk for a few minutes and go for a walk instead of having a sad desk lunch. Or bust out some yoga moves right in the middle of the office! Yep, I do that. It's not even the weirdest thing that happens around here.
We do a thing called the #Getfit Bonus. Log two workouts in a week and you'll see an extra 10 bucks on your paycheck. Nice! Do something good for yourself and earn some extra cash? That's what I call a win-win.
Of course, we do our #getfit bonus tracking in our company's Coop. We each get a #getfit tag - for instance #getfitkoneill is my tag. Each week we log any activity we do in a note in the Coop with our own tag. When it comes time to do payroll, Andrea checks our note to see whether we've qualified for the bonus that week. Two work outs/activity sessions tracked in the Coop a week gets you the bonus.
This week I've tracked a couple of yoga classes and a walk in my neighborhood. I think that's a pretty fine way to earn $10!
