The LO Down in 60: Identifying Sex on the 1003

Posted by Nathan Knottingham on August 27 2019

Let's talk about describing sex on the 1003, this is the Lo Down in 60 seconds.

A link to read on the topic of Gender and Sex: https://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/232363.php

In a total side note, the state of Oregon allows for the X on the drivers license. Shortly after they changed it to X the insurance commission issued a warning to remind companies that gender discrimination in car insurance rates is only permissible if you have actual data to back up the pricing disparities. Since there is no data on the X gender population it would reason that they would have the best rates. Interesting!

We would love to hear your thoughts and help with your questions. Let us know in the comments below how we can help.
